Nivis’s snow cannons, Storm, Small, System 660 and System 520, do not need compressors and therefore do not need traditional nucleators. Specially developed ejectors, which replace the traditional compressor, take in outside air and produce a water-air mixture which is then scattered directly into the nozzle ring. Snow capacity is ensured both at low and marginal temperatures. The snow quality achieved by the Nivis philosophy has been optimally adjusted to the needs of high-traffic slopes and guarantees longer durability due to fine, compact snow crystals.
